Took the kids on an end-of-the-school-year day trip into Manhattan with my sister and her kids. We met up with her sister-in-law and family. Getting around with my nephew in a wheelchair was very difficult logistically. NYC is not friendly to the physically disabled community. On a better note, someone pointed out an inexpensive Chinese take-out place where we were able to get lunch that was left us enough for dinner as well. $30 to feed April and I and 5 children two meals in NYC? Wow!! Ann, April's SIL and her husband, Brian knew of this great playground in Central Park with fountains for the kids to run through. Despite the drizzly weather, the kids loved getting wet. We ended the day with a walkthrough at FAO Schwartz where the kids got to play on the piano from the movie, "Big." Wish I hadn't been so tired from working the night before. Overall, a really nice day.
